Interfaith Dialogue and Intercultural Understanding

Rumi Forum was founded in 1999 with the mission to foster interfaith dialogue, intercultural understanding, and intergroup engagement. The Forum works towards strengthening a culture of peace, pluralism, and social harmony among faith communities and individuals of diverse backgrounds and worldviews.

Who We Are

We are a network of individuals coming from various faith and professional backgrounds dedicated to building intergroup bridges.

What We Do

We build relationships, offer learning opportunities, and mobilize leaders in the greater Washington, DC area.

Why We Do It

We are inspired by the Hizmet Movement, a faith-inspired transnational civil society network upholding service to humanity.
