On June 2nd, Rumi Forum organized an Interfaith Suhoor meal with Fairfax County. 

Welcomed by Imam Sami Kocak, the Imam of Ezher Camii Mosque in Fairfax, guests started arriving between 2:45 AM and 3:00 AM, when the food was served. During the meal, guests got to engage in lively interfaith conversations and discussed different faith traditions while enjoying delicious Turkish cuisine. Dr. Bevery Goines joined the community for Suhoor and discussed the importance of finding ways to build bridges of understanding between people of different religions all over the world as long as we share political and geographical spaces. Dr. Goynes, Assistant Pastor at National City Christian Church, emphasized the essence of getting together and celebrating our diversity.
