On Sunday, September 8th, Rumi Forum participated in the 14th annual Unity Walk where over 1000 people of all faiths and backgrounds came together to celebrate the diversity of the DC metro area. It was a true joy and an insightful experience to have the opportunity to visit 11 different houses of worship, actively engage with participants as well as with members of the clergy, taste delicious traditional foods, and partake in service projects.

Through this platform, participants lift up their hearts and communities. Unity Walk once again reminded all that there are more positive values of compassion and civility than we usually think of. Rumi Forum is honored to be part of this great endeavor for the third time.
