Join small-table discussions of the complex issues of adapting to American society. The dialogue will focus on interfaith interaction with regard to belief systems. Conversations will be facilitated by representatives from UUCF and the Rumi Forum. Members of all religious, and intersectional belief systems are welcome to attend.
After establishing a shared framework, participants will break into their assigned groups. Leaders will moderate the in-depth table conversations and enable participants to consider how their faith-based and religious beliefs translate to American constructs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to exchange family, or personal, stories regarding migration and intercultural collaboration throughout international communities. Groups will then reassemble and continue conversations in a larger group setting.
*Note that discussion questions will be released prior to the start of the event.
