On Sunday, October 15th, 2023, Rumi Forum and Sharing Sacred Spaces had a site visit to The Firefly House located in Springfield, VA. This interfaith visit had representatives from six different religions present to explore this sacred space and build understanding and unity across faiths.

The site visit took place with the Wiccan community at the McLaren Sargent Pavilion in Lake Accotink Park, where the participants were greeted with tea, snacks, and warm hospitality. We learned about the religion’s story, heart, and practices, observed a ritual, heard from members about their spiritual journey, walked the space, and engaged in dialogue.
