Today marks the 16th anniversary of the tragic 9/11 events. We sadly remember the lives lost and affected by the attacks and in the aftermath. We remember the heroic actions and sacrifices of the first responders and others who rushed to help.
These horrific violent acts did not weaken us as a society. We are heartened to see American people’s resolve for defending democratic values as well as standing united against hatred and extremism. This strong resolve motivates us to continue our work in promoting peace and interfaith dialogue.
