Rumi Forum is a co-sponsor of IFC’s annual Unity Walk, a public demonstration of love and support for all who live in our region. At this challenging time in our country, it is more important than ever to come together to demonstrate our common humanity and support religious pluralism. Every year, IFC’s annual Unity Walk brings together hundreds of people in a public demonstration of love and support for all who live in our region!

This year’s walk will take place on Sunday, September 8th, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Walk will begin at Washington Hebrew Congregation (3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC) and end at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC (2551 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC). This year, we invite you to join us! The Walk invites participants of all ages to visit different houses of worship and spiritual centers along Massachusetts Ave. and to learn about and experience diverse faith traditions. There will be additional opportunities to engage, including speed dialogues, a mediation ritual, a service project, and more!
