The Rumi Forum of Washington DC condemns in the strongest terms the abhorrent attacks on the US embassy in Libya. We are deeply saddened at this grave tragedy and at the loss of life of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three US diplomats. The religion of Islam asserts that taking the life of one innocent human being is as if taking the lives of all humanity. Islam holds human dignity, freedom and justice at the highest degree. Our prayers and hearts are with the victims and their families of these tragic events.
