As part of the Rumi Forum’s Abraham’s Table Forum Discussion Series, the Virginia chapter hosted a Jewish Rabinnic Pastor, Muslim Imam and Christian Reverend for a forum and discussion entitled,“ Denouncing Violence in the Name of Faith.”
Rumi Forum is organizing Abraham’s Table Forum Discussion Series to create an environment that encourages open dialogue between people of different faith traditions, foster better understanding and celebrates our common humanity.
This time, a Jewish Rabinnic Pastor, Muslim Imam and Christian Reverend are joining together for a forum and discussion entitled,“ Denouncing Violence in the Name of Faith.” The program was held on Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Unity, located at 2825 Hydraulic Road in Charlottesville. The event included a free dinner from 6:30—7:30 p.m. followed by panel discussion and Q & A from 7:30—8:30 p.m.
