Rumi Forum organized its “Spring 2024 Quarterly Social” at the Friends Meeting of Washington on April 27, 2024. Quarterly Social is an opportunity to meet individuals from various walks of life and engage in stimulating conversations. Each Quarterly Social gathering features a different theme on which participants share their reflections in an open and welcoming environment. The meetings take the form of facilitated conversations in which participants themselves are the speakers.

Our theme for the Spring 2024 Quarterly Social was “Courage.” There were some questions to ponder before our gathering:

How do you define courage? What is one other word that you associate with it?

What is your source of courage?

Who is your role model in courage? Why?

Have you ever exhibited positive or negative aspects of courage, and could you discuss that experience? How did you feel during that experience, and when you reflect on it now, do you feel any differently?
