The Rumi Forum and Springfield Christian Church of Springfield, VA joined together for an Interfaith Iftar dinner at Springfield Christian Church.
The evening began with a talk and prayer by Pastor Beth Pass and was followed by the Islamic call to prayer. Both communities shared wonderful foods prepared by members of each community.
Hakki Ocal from the Rumi Forum spoke about individual faith and spirituality in Islam. The Rumi Forum would like to thank the members of Springfield Christian Church for hosting this special event and we look forward to many future interfaith events together between our communities.
